At Shaftesbury Supermarket we worked with the support of the town to develop a scheme that would complement the town's existing shopping in contrast to a rival scheme for an out-of-town site. We won an appeal with costs, and saw the scheme through to the site sale to the operator. At Sturminster we have worked with the community to develop a scheme for seven acres of town centre with planning granted on first deposit drawings due to the community support. This scheme comprises supermarket, shops, offices and medical centre. We have a separate appointment for the Community Hall next door.
We feel that mixed commercial use continuing a tradition of close townscape can achieve profitable development which can appeal to residents of the town. |
